The educational philosophy that guides us at Bee House Kindergarten is based on a collaborative approach to education. We believe in educating the artistic, intellectual, emotional, and physical aspects of every child in an integrated and holistic manner. Using a wide range of techniques – from story-telling to self-guided exploration and play – teachers at Bee House engage students to use their imagination and sense of wonder to explore and learn.
We combine the core tenets of our curriculum (maths, science, early literacy, art, music, and physical education) with our pedagogical concepts (self-sufficiency, morning circle, structured lessons, freeplay, learning centers, social and emotional development) to create an individualized educational experience for young learners. We also draw inspiration from many educational styles including Waldorf and Reggio Emilio philosophies. Using these sources of inspiration, we adapted the Early Years Foundations Stages from the United Kingdom and integrated them with the Vietnamese State Standards. The result is a very unique educational experience that prepares children for a wide variety of elementary school options.
